British Dyslexia Association, lead UK charity for dyslexia, accredits specialist courses and teachers; provides training, conferences, publications; sets standards; the go to place for sound information. We operate a range of services for dyslexics of all ages including the National Helpline answering c20,000 enquiries per year. Our training courses reach over 10,000 in education. Our projects directly help 2000 children. Our conferences are often sold out and in 2018, we run our 11th International Conference. We also set professional standards for those supporting dyslexic individuals. This ranges from our accreditation of specialist teaching qualfications (industry recognised as the gold standard), to our accredited training courses for educators and workplace needs assessors, or our coveted Quality Mark for organisations with excellence in dyslexia friendly practice. We are looking for an experienced strategic manager with organisation and financial management experience and similar values who can lead the senior team onto our next exciting phase. A high level of expertise in dyslexia would be preferred.
