Are you looking to be a Director of a leading brand with the chance to run your own department where you can implement new ideas to improve the growth of the company.
On offer is the opportunity to have a hands on role in the process of designing and manufacturing customised products, as well as further develop your own team.
This company design and manufacture a range of specialised products for clients across the UK and some parts of Europe. They have grown from strength to strength over the last 15 years with the aim to double headcount and turnover in the next 2-3 years, as well as expand into the US market.
The day to day responsibilities for this role include managing a 6-person team of Designers and Technicians in the development of new or customised products and getting them to manufacturing as quickly as possible. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspect of the business as well as work alongside a variety of high end clients.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a influential and technically challenging role where they will be influential in all business decisions.
The Role:
*Managing a 6-person Project & Design team to achieving project deadlines
*Involved in the design, development and manufacturing of new products
*Further growing the Design and Development side of the company
The Person:
*Knowledge and experience in product design and manufacturing
*Experience as a Design Manager/ Supervisor.
*A background in the Furniture industry would be favourable, not necessary.
