Who will I be working with?
Lodge Initiatives is a well-established, fast growing business specialising in the wholesale of automotive parts across the UK and Europe. For over 15 years the company has been supplying parts from the world’s biggest manufacturers and European motor brands. The professional, friendly team prides itself on developing long-term and meaningful client partnerships, and benefits from having multi-lingual colleagues.
Supporting ambitious growth plans, the company has made a significant investment into facilities, with a recent move to a 11,000 sq ft site in Deeside, near Chester. Lodge Initiatives takes care of its colleagues as much as customers, and there are plenty of opportunities for career progression.
So, what will the role of Operations / Warehouse Manager entail?
As the Operations / Warehouse Manager, you’ll play a key strategic role to grow the business further, as part of an experienced and successful Management team.
Primarily you will focus your time leading and developing the operations of a small but expanding Warehouse team currently consisting of 4 colleagues, including stock management and the organisation of goods in and out.
You will also take responsibility for the wider business operations in relation to; human resources and staff training; facilities management; and health and safety.
What will I need to be considered for this Operations / Warehouse Manager vacancy?
- Proven experience within business to business wholesale operations and stock warehouse management
- Experience leading and motivating a high performing team
- Strong commercial awareness with a strategic mind-set
- Ability to work autonomously using own initiative, whilst collaborating with colleagues and the wider Management team
- Flexibility towards tasks, with enthusiasm to take a hands-on approach as part of a small team to ensure deadlines met
- Superb interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
- An ambitious and proactive nature
- Good IT literacy
- High level of attention to detail

Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 plus company performance based bonus. OTE: £42,000 to £46,000.

Working Hours: Full time hours, Monday to Friday
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Deeside (Flintshire, North Wales). Conveniently located near to Chester, the Wirral, A55 and the M56.
