Reliability Engineer / Maintenance Team Leader

The Company also has an office and warehouse in Belfast, from which our Northern Ireland operation and stock is managed.
We have an exciting opportunity to join a fast paced production environment seeking to further improve current high manufacturing standards.
As the reliability team leader you will:
Support work to reduce reactive maintenance
Help deliver a preventative maintenance programme
Lead a team to ensure breakdowns are responded to quickly, preventative maintenance is completed on time with minimal disruption to production and machines are improved to reduce downtime
Work with the Continuous Improvement Team to develop a system to engage the operators with routine maintenance tasks.
Work in partnership with the Engineering team in the development and introduction of new machines.
Educated to degree level or equivalent (eg HND level and time served apprenticeship in an engineering discipline, you will have a strong background of working in a manufacturing environment with a good understanding of lean manufacturing tools (such as TPM, RCM, 5S). You will be able to demonstrate experience of working in a reliability / maintenance role and will have gained experience in developing reliability systems. A confident communicator, you will provide clear directions for the team encouraging effective teamwork. You will have good data analysis skills and the ability to analyse breakdowns, determine root cause and help develop solutions to regular failures and other issues that affect plant operations
