Our client have invested over £400 million in our homes and they have developed a range of services that go beyond the traditional role as a landlord. Making sure customers live in safe homes is vital to the work of the electrical team.

Carrying out routine repairs, fault finding and installations you will be accountable for ensuring that all jobs are done to high electrical standards whilst ensuring that the customers are happy. They want skilled people who can show care and consideration for customers, often in the most trying of times.

You must be educated to NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent and have proven electrical installation and repairs experience, working in occupied and unoccupied properties.

Things have a habit of breaking down at inconvenient times so you will need to be flexible, working hours are between 8am and 6pm (Monday to Friday) with the possibility of some Saturday mornings, they also operate an out of hours rota. In emergency situations you may be required to work outside of normal working hours.

In return our client ensure the colleagues receive a competitive salary and a great benefits package including 27 days annual leave, an option of pension schemes, health cash plan, and child care vouchers.

Due to the underrepresentation of women in this area of the business, the organisation is adopting strategies to increase women into construction roles. To this end they welcome and encourage applications from suitably qualified women for this post.

Our client is committed to safer recruitment and to the protection and safeguarding of children, young people and vulnerable adults and will conduct appropriate background checks where necessary.

Previous applicants in the last 6 months need to reapply.

Early applications are encouraged as often we experience a high volume of interest for posts. We will review applications on a daily basis and once we have received sufficient applications we reserve the right to bring forward the closing date.
