A Development Engineer is required to join a market leading company who are revolutionising commercial air travel for people around the world.
Role: Development Engineer
As Development Engineer you will be responsible for:
+ Completion and maintenance of the customer technical requirements documentation
+ Subject Matter Expert on the capabilities and technical integration of all elements in the solution
+ Gathering and collating technical information and communicating it effectively with a variety of nationalities across multiple time zones
+ Supporting the project installation activities and install/test aircraft installations as required
+ Providing support to the SatCom Service Delivery team on resolving technical assistance as required
+ Pro-active liaison with technical partners to resolve project technical issues
+ Supporting the Project Manager at project meetings and timely completion of actions
Experience:
As Development Engineer you will have experience of:
+ Proven Customer Service, operational, technical or related industry experience
+ Working knowledge of the typical aircraft project schedule - ITCM, PDR, CDR, FAI
+ Working knowledge of IP Networking
+ Detailed understanding of aircraft avionic systems and standards including, but not limited to, ARINC 429, 791, 615, 665
+ Should possess excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project)
+ Possess detailed technical analytical skills
