This company is an international supplier of integrated communication and security solutions predominantly for the transportation industry. Their products and services include IP Alarm Signalling, Help Points, Integrated Communication Platforms, Installation and Maintenance, Alarm Monitoring and Management Systems, Consultancy and Project Management. They have been trading since 2000. They aim to develop their company markets both in different vertical markets and geographical areas. Due to expansion, they are looking for a Project Engineer to work side-by-side with their Project Manager. The position is responsible for the commercial and technical input to Communication and Security projects by performing the following duties: - Completion and maintenance of the customer technical requirements documentation. - Ability to gather and collate technical information and to communicate it effectively with a variety of stakeholders. - Support the project installation activities and install/test installations as required. - Pro-active liaison with partners to resolve project technical and commercial issues. - Work in a collaborative way, contributing towards a culture of high quality and continuous improvement. - Any other duties as might be required commensurate with the role. Experience: - A good technical knowledge of IT and ULV systems would be highly desirable along with an aptitude for mechanical systems. - Proven customer service, operational, technical or related industrial sector experience. - Railway experience an advantage. - Adaptable to work in an ever changing and demanding operational environment. - Possess detailed technical analytical skills. Required skills: - Microsoft Office - Microsoft Project - Microsoft Visio Benefits: Bonus scheme paid annually in December, which will be proportional on the profitability of the Company and the performance of the individual. Workplace Pension Scheme Training: Certifications are required by Network Rail and other Government based institutions, which are required to carry out work on their sites. This training is compulsory and will include Personal Track Safety, a Sentinel Card and a medical. Random drugs and alcohol screening also takes place.
