A highly driven, enthusiastic and passionate Web Designer / Web Developer to join our UK team in Steeton. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of ability to deliver web-based solutions using methodology that puts users at the heart of the design.

Key Responsibilities:
•To design, develop and upfront end websites and landing pages of the Acorn Stairlifts brand
•To take over the re-design and development of additional company related sites and bring these to completion
•To work on cross-platform applications to develop and effective user experiences covering mobile phones, tablets,computers
•To create an effective CTA's web banners
•Working collaboratively with cross-disciplinary teams
•Continual professional development to keep up to date with new web trends

Key Performance indicators:
•To ensure that all end user websites are up to date
•To ensure that an end product design meets the core business objective
•All browsers comply with company standards
•Communicating with team members
•Work is produced in a timely manner to pre-agreed schedules
•Updating task lists

Requirements:

Qualifications/Education/Training:
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Experience:
•Experience of working in a similar role (Portfolio to be provided)(Essential)
•Experience of designing for seniors (Desirable)

Knowledge:
•Strong Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 and responsive design (Essential)
•Knowledge of PHP, JavaScript &jQuery (Essential)
•Strong understanding and ability to use the User-centred design principles (Essential)
•Design capability using Adobe Photoshop (Essential)
•Knowledge of multi browser testing across devices (Essential)
