Claims Team Leader - First Response
Leicester
£27000 - £32000 per annum + bonus
A leading motor insurer in Leicester is looking to expand their claims management team. You will be responsible for management oversight of 10-15 Motor Claims Handlers (First Notification) and work closely with senior management of technical process improvement and general claims strategy.
Role Responsibilities:
* Lead of team of 10-15 Motor Claims Handlers and driving claims excellence for first response
* To ensure that your team achieves all quality and customer outcomes, as agreed with your line manager
* To embed a coaching and performance management culture within your team, also creating the time, space and confidence for your team to go above and beyond for customers
* Embed a performance management culture across the claims team
* Act as a technical referral point for all complex issues
* Work closely with senior management of customer experience strategy and process improvement
Skills / Experience Required:
* Experience leading a team of 10+ Claims Handlers, gained at a reputable motor insurer
* Strong technical claims ability, preferably within the motor field
* Strong commercial awareness within the insurance industry
* Experience driving customer performance and excellence
* Ability to work closely with senior stakeholders
* Degree educated, preferable
* CII Cert, preferable
