Receptionist/Administrator (DBS Certified)
Brook Street are recruiting for a temporary Part Time Admin role in the North Shields area, providing administration support and reception service for a family care centre.
This is a temporary role for 4 weeks initially, Part Time, 21 hours (Mon-Thurs)
Responsibilities and Duties
" Responsible for welcoming all clients and visitors to the centre with courtesy, efficiency and consideration
" Responsible for dealing with all enquiries in a timely manner whether by phone, fax, e-mail or in person.
" Responsible for promptly relaying messages as required to colleagues, clients and external agencies
" Responsible for opening, sorting and distributing mail and incoming faxes on a daily basis
" Responsible for the provision and maintenance of a central filing system
" Responsible for typing/sending out any correspondence and reports required by colleagues within agreed deadlines
" Responsible for all administration duties relating to clients eg waiting list.
" Responsible for the organisation of Management Committee meetings and the typing up of the minutes.
" Responsible for keeping up-to-date information on all Management Committee members and any user forums which may be established.
" Responsible for keeping a central record of staff holidays
" Responsible for ensuring the completion of Risk Assessments as necessary and all Health & Safety legislation is adhered to.
" Providing support to the Office Coordinator as necessary, including, but not exclusively, inputting data onto the database, taking responsibility for the Petty Cash and ordering equipment/supplies.
