Age Well Partnership Co-ordinator

Age UK Blackburn with Darwen are seeking to recruit a co-ordinator to support and drive the continued development and delivery of the strategic Blackburn with Darwen Age Well Partnership. The partnership has responsibility for advocating for older people’s needs and views, and ensuring the delivery of the Age Well Strategy and action plan across the public, private and voluntary sectors in Blackburn with Darwen. This post is responsible for working with partners to deliver these tasks.

Experience of successfully working at a strategic level with a range of partners, excellent communication and negotiating skills, a knowledge and understanding of the older people’s policy and service delivery agendas, and the ability to work on own initiative are all essential.
