Client operates the supply raw materials to most industries, include wide range of products, including chemicals, crop products.

What you can Expect:
Directly reporting to the Plant Manager, your primary objectives as Asset Manager will be to optimise asset performance & utilisation, measured by Asset Effectiveness and Asset Integrity, by managing risk and expenditures over the entire life cycle of the assets.

You will evaluate existing plant capability and establish current & future plant requirements from all stakeholders.
Through gap analysis, you will compile the Asset Development Plan including the maintenance management strategy, spare parts holding, investment (ADP) and replacement plan and required expertise.
You will continually review through the process of "Plan-Do-Check-Act" with focus on KPIs relating to Asset Effectiveness and the Maintenance Work Cycle, as well as focus on operating conditions, ageing plant, legislation and degradation mechanisms..
You will routinely assess asset risk and losses, through root cause analysis eliminate / reduce the effects of Bad Actors by appropriate corrective measures aligned to the Asset Management (AMP).
You will ensure Written Schemes of Examination (WSE) are appropriate and current and that assets are inspected and assessed according to the WSE.
You will approve fitness for service or issue defect reports to the Plant Manager.
You will ensure integrity issues are resolved in accordance with the AMP and that the Plant Asset Register is always current and includes key data.
You will ensure appropriate use of tools to assess plant condition & identify risks when compiling improvement measures, e.g. Risk Based Maintenance (RBM), Risk Based Inspections (RBI), etc.
You will prepare and manage the maintenance and investment budgets for the plants.
You will optimize expenditures according to asset condition and the requirements for reliability and integrity.
You will establish Service Level Agreements with maintenance service providers to ensure the AMP is achieved with optimal efficiency.

What we Expect:
You are educated to a Master of Engineering (hons) degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical engineering, and possess 5 years' relevant experience in maintenance management and asset care.
You are an effective communicator and display strong networking skills.
You are competent in the use of Microsoft Office and engineering applications.
You are fluent in the English language.

Benefits:
Remuneration
Remuneration is paid in twelve equal monthly instalments direct to your bank account on the 25th of each month
Basic salaries are reviewed annually usually in April.

Variable pay/bonus
The Company operates a remuneration package which includes Variable Pay.
The Target Variable Pay amount is set each year for each job grade and is communicated on an annual basis. The variable pay year runs from 1 January to 31 December. The actual variable pay is linked to Company and Employee performance and is normally paid as part of the April payroll, in the year following the variable pay year.

Overtime, if applicable, will be paid on the basis set out in the Overtime Policy.

Holidays
Annual paid holiday entitlement is 25 days plus the 8 UK official Bank Holidays provided you have completed a year’s service. The holiday year runs from 1 January to 31 December.

KEY SKILLS
Master of Engineering (hons) degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical engineering - 5 years' relevant experience in maintenance management and asset care.
