Site Engineer - Civil Engineering
Our client is one of the country's largest privately owned contractors within annual turnover in excess GBP5billion per annum and with interests across all aspects of construction. They are continually looking towards the future with heavy investment in new innovation and are always looking to make sure they are their people are at the cutting edge of their industry.
They are currently at the initial stages of a high profile construction projects in the Somerset area which is a GBP3billion new section to a power station.
They are currently looking for a Site Engineer to work alongside a Section Engineer on the initial packages. The role requires the individual to set out works in accordance to drawings and information given by management whilst maintaining the highest levels of record keeping and safety standards. You will be required to liaise will various other people on site such as resident engineer, clerk of works, site foreperson and works managers. You will need to demonstrate excellent record keeping and be able to communicate at all levels.
