Experienced professionals are required for the role of Duty Officer at Arley Sports Centre. Various part time hours are available and can be negotiated during the recruitment process; please specify your preferred number of hours on your application and consideration will be given.

You must have excellent staff management skills and the ability to prioritise your workload. An understanding of the leisure industry and the principles of leisure operations would be an advantage, as well as an understanding of Health & Safety legislation in relation to a public environment.

You must hold a recognised full first aid certificate (or have the ability to achieve within two months of appointment).

Working as a member of the Leisure Centre Management Team, you will be crucial to the development of our busy and constantly progressing leisure facilities. Your key tasks will include programme development, customer care and retention, marketing, staff development and managing day-to-day operations. This may include mornings, evenings and weekends.

We also have casual Duty Officer vacancies available at all of the four leisure facilities sites - Atherstone, Arley, Polesworth and Coleshill.

This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and, as such, appointment will be conditional upon receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of criminal records via the Disclosure and Barring Service, before the appointment is confirmed. This will include details of cautions, reprimands or final warnings, as well as convictions. An Enhanced Disclosure will be required.
