£18,746 - £21,962 (Grade 4) per annum

There is an exciting opportunity to join the Council's Waste Services department for a HGV Driver. Based at Fairfield Depot on the Fairfield Industrial Estate in Louth, you will be responsible for both driving and loading duties on a refuse freighter.
You will form part of the Refuse and Recycling Team emptying wheelie bins across East Lindsey.
Whilst experience of waste operations and knowledge of East Lindsey is desirable, the ability to work flexibly within a team and willingness to learn new skills across waste services is essential. The work is physically demanding and requires working outside in all weathers.
A HGV Class C Licence (previously Class 2 Licence) and a fully complete Drivers Qualification Card is essential for this role. The start time is 5:30am and a shift system is in operation working four days within a Monday - Friday period. Some bank holiday working is also involved.
