The Big house is an eight bedded children's home providing short breaks for children and young people with significant learning disabilities and associated challenging behaviours.

You must be committed to meeting the needs of the children and young people you care for as well as have the ability and commitment to work in what can be a very challenging environment.

You must be a motivated, caring person who wants to develop your skills working with children and young people who are very vulnerable and need a high level of care and support.

You must have experience of working with children and young people within a residential setting and will be committed to undertake training as is necessary to the post.

The post involves shift, weekend and bank holiday working.
