Principal C++ Software Engineer

C/C++ Software Engineer - Belfast Your new company As a C/C++ Principal Software Engineer you will responsible for the design and development of my Belfast clients software components. These components are deployed to their countertop and handheld Payment Capture terminals. Work developing products that are highly secure devices capable of handling contact and contactless smart cards, Android Pay, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay etc., as well as providing value added services for both the Merchant and paying customer. Your new role Leading the team, as a Principle Software Engineer you will develop primarily on C++ and C, and your responsibilities will include utilising a variety of web protocols to integrate capabilities to this companies payment partner's Point of Sale systems (PoS), providing web services to PoS, and consuming web services from their Payment Gateway. As a Principal Software Engineer you will be recognized as a strong technical expert and leader. What you'll need to succeed You will need to be a Software Developer that is happy teaching and mentoring as leader of a team. You will use C++ and C programming languages and have experience of Linux development. This position could be ideal for a Senior C++ Developer who wants to take the next step up in their career.
