This position would suit a confident Maths graduate who has achieved a 2:1 or above Hons degree, someone with the aspirations of becoming a Maths Teacher. You will work full time in our Maths department for the remainder academic year. For aspiring teachers we will provide you with all the CPD and development you need for a successful teacher training programme in 2018. A School Direct Scheme could be on offer for you should the role prove to be a success.

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant you will be providing tutoring to pupils who need it most, either on a 1:1 basis or in small groups. You will be encouraging and supporting individual pupils to reach their full potential, you must be able to motivate, inspire and challenge your pupils. This is an ideal role for an ambitious graduate, keen to develop your skills and confidence in the classroom before commencing on a teacher training scheme.
