Senior technical buyer role, Cheltenham, GBP42,##### ######This company operating in a highly regulated industry currently recruiting within its Cheltenham based office. With offices in the UK and US, they develop and manufacture innovative electromechanical devices and software for a highly regulated industry. This role is based at their UK headquarters in Gloucestershire and is the result of continued success, and sustained growth. The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas Experience in a technical buyer role within an engineering environment, this will ideally be buying for electronics based products Experience in dealing with supply chain i.e. suppliers, vendors and manufactures etc Ideally this person will need a technical background as well as a strategic approach to buying Experience in working in a buyer role for a company that manufacture electronics would be an advantage but again, not essential Good commercial awareness and customer facing skills to be able to build, manage and maintain relationships with both existing and new suppliers and vendors Experience of working within a new product development environment is preferred Salary will be dependent on experience between GBP35,000 GBP42,000 with Great benefits package.
