Major Gift Fundraiser

Morgan Hunt is working in partnership with Motivation to help find an Major Gift Fundraiser on a full or part time basis, based in their Bristol Head Office. Motivation is a ground breaking International Development Charity and Social Enterprise that has been transforming the lives of disabled people for over 25 years.

Working with the Head of Fundraising & Communications to develop and implement a strategy for identifying potential new partnerships for Motivation, in line with the Fundraising & Communications Team's operational plan for 2017/18. Key to the role will be networking, meeting with prospective donors (high net worth individuals, companies and some foundations) and submitting high quality funding proposals.

Essential Criteria:
* Experience of working in a similar role especially from high net worth individuals and corporates
* Experience of initiating and managing Prospect Research
* Confident in cultivating high value prospects and managing relationships to engage donors and solicit substantial income
* Exceptional communication and writing skills with the confidence to interact effectively with people at all levels
* Experience of public speaking and presenting face-to-face

If you have a proven track record in a similar role with the experience of cultivating new donors and partnerships to increase income from high value relationships (for Motivation this means >GBP5,000) this is the role for you.
