Opportunity for Software Developer to join a dynamic start-up business in central Bristol

The Role

As Software Developer, you will work as part of an agile team delivering on a fortnightly sprint cycle, building functional, robust and performant systems to meet the acceptance criteria defined by the product owner. You will be involved in refining requirements, designing and implementing solutions and offering technical input into product design as well as being involved in the long term technical development of the company platform.

Our client is a start-up business developing the next generation SaaS platform for the vocational training / education sector. Utilising the latest cloud technology, this software platform will provide a true end-to-end, integrated learner management and e-portfolio solution - and enable training providers, employers and colleges to manage, drive and maximise their learner programmes. The Government's 2020 Apprenticeship Strategy will drive unprecedented change in the sector and our client's market-leading solution is designed to tap into record levels of funding and business interest. The business is fully funded with ambitious plans and the Founders have an impressive track record of success in the sector.

The Person

As Software Developer you will have solid technical ability and a willingness to explore and learn new technologies. With excellent communication skills you will have practical experience in C# .NET, Angular 4.0 or similar, REST / API Development, Typescript / Javascript / HTML / CSS, Agile Development / Scrum, Sql Server / ASP.NET MVC.
