My client are a well established and respected scientific, clinical and engineering recruiter. They are currently searching for a scientific graduate with sales experience or a scientific recruitment consultant to join their team.
You will need to have a science relateddegree. Candidates who have worked in a lab environment are also more than welcome to apply. Recruitment consultants from other disciplines but with a scientific degree would also be welcome.
The role is to work the Pharma, Biotech, Food, Med Device and FMCG markets for scientists/laboratory staff.
This is a warmish desk but has not been looked after well recently so it needs a really good relationship builder - someone with some personality and a bit of drive and determination. It is to recruit for temp and perm (mostly perm), and desk has 12 regular temps out and there are around 10 open perm jobs on it. There are established relationships in place so it's mostly warm sales and there is a steady stream of jobs called in. I really need someone that isn't going to be afraid of picking up the phone to clients and making sales.
