My client is a successful global company that provides a variety of on-site Laboratory Services to major pharmaceutical companies. Due to an internal move, they now have an exciting opportunity at a respected pharmaceutical customer for a lab support assistant. This job is ideal for a good communicator with some existing lab support, steward or assistant type experience wanting to join the pharmaceutical industry in a broad support role.

About the Job
Using your good communication and time management skills you will support research scientists with ancillary tasks while they carry out their role.
This is lab support work in a biological research lab and activities will consist of making up media, buffers, solutions, calibrating equipment and equipment checks, maintaining stocks, glassware washing, general laboratory maintenance and other activities to ensure smooth running of the laboratory.
About You
This role would suit a communicative team player without a scientific degree that has some existing lab experience they are looking to build on, OR for someone with a science degree (Biological Sciences, Biomedical Sciences or similar) that is looking for a long-term role in the lab in a cross functional, general lab role.
To succeed in this job, you should demonstrate the following qualities/attributes:
- Proven attention to detail and ability to work flexibly with minimal direct supervision
- Proven ability to take on new activities in an efficient manner
- A strong team player
- Good planning and organisational skills
