Our client is a values-led business and one of the UK’s most progressive housing associations with 14,000 properties across the south-east of England and a large property development portfolio. Our client are currently recruiting and have an exciting opportunity to join Team. 

Our client is currently seeking a Head of Repairs to effectively manage a P&L of circa £6 million and be responsible for the effective operational and commercial performance of the Reactive Repairs division, overseeing the delivery of repairs (circa 30,000 a year) either directly through the DLO or through supply chain partners. 

You will be responsible to the Executive Managing Director of Property Services and you will set and achieve challenging targets for agreed KPIs. These will include reporting on, and being accountable for performance against targets through the management and governance structure. Amongst other duties you will also deliver against financial targets ensuring that P&L performance is met or exceeded. 

Decisive and highly focused you will inspire confidence in others by role modelling     appropriate behaviours. Owning and driving contract performance within the DLO (internal contractor) and across the wider materials and labour supply base you will also demonstrate in-depth functional expertise and broad business knowledge to achieve financial and operational objectives. Further to this you will also lead cross-functional or external projects to bring improvements.

As this post requires the post-holder to have a current UK licence and car available for business use at all times, you will be entitled to £4,936 per annum, car cash allowance.
