Children & Young Persons Registered Home Manager - Kettering

BS Social Care are currently recruiting for a Children and Young Persons Registered Home Manager for a 4 bedded mixed sex service providing care to children aged 8yrs - 17yrs who present with a learning disability within the Kettering area of Northamptonshire.

This is a permanent and full time role offering £32,500 - £35,000 including benefits such as training, qualifications, bonuses, pensions, a mobile phone and more.

About the employer; this is a long standing company with two homes currently and 1 in the process of opening. They provide care to a small number of children allowing them to very much concentrate on the quality each children receives when living within their homes. The homes offer a home from home feeling which doesn`t allow any form of institutionalised features allowing the children and young people to feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible.

About the job; the job is looking for someone with a strong children and young person`s background who is able to hit the ground running. This is a role where initially, a lot of hard work is needed to settle the team and the home and to make it your own.

About the ideal candidate we are looking for the following;

- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Child Care
- Minimum of 3 years` experience managing a residential home in children`s services within the last 5 years
- We will only consider applicants that are currently Registered Managers
- A full driving licence with own transport
- Candidates will need to evidence `Good` or `Outstanding` outcomes from Ofsted inspections and they will also be required to pass their fit persons interview with Ofsted to become `registered`

A salary of £32,500 - £35,000 will be offered for a full time and permanent role working Monday - Friday; 9am - 5pm.
