Legal Cashier

Search Accountancy and Finance are currently recruiting for a well-known and respected Organisation based in Dundee & Angus. The opportunity is for a full-time Legal Cashier on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will ideally have previous finance experience in a deadline driven and busy environment, you will be a strong team player with excellent communication skills, be numerate and demonstrate good attention to detail.

Your main duties within the role will consist of
* Bank reconciliations
* Allocating and processing invoice payments
* Client liaison including dealing with queries
* Research and identification of all incoming payments
* Processing Chaps, Bacs and Faster Payments.

There will also be general financial administration including, fund reconciliations, processing various ledger invoices, reviewing and processing expense claims, reconciling supplier statements and staff payroll.

The successful candidate will ideally to have experience of working in a legal environment and preferably hold a SOLAS qualification, although this is not essential. You will be required to contribute to the day-to-day running of the cash room as well as the improvement and implementation of systems/procedures and general office administration.
