Based in Nottingham, this role requires a flexible, creative and energetic sales professional who can work with local businesses to create bespoke and innovative marketing solutions utilising Trinity Mirror's breadth of products and marketing expertise.

You will undertake a structured induction and in addition, your training will be ongoing. Our people are important to us, we want to help make you a success and we actively encourage promotion.

For this role, you will earn a competitive base salary and OTE bonus, company car, laptop and phone, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, childcare vouchers, cycle scheme, holiday purchase and other employee discount schemes.




Role Responsibility

Working for www.nottinghampost.com, part of the Trinity Mirror Group you will work across our iconic brands in the East Midlands and wider Trinity Mirror Digital Networks

You will become your customers' Digital expert and be seen as an extension of their business. With a consultative approach you will:

  • Identify and follow up all commercial leads that have potential to become Trinity Mirror customers.
  • Work with key stakeholders to create innovative and bespoke marketing solutions for your customers.
  • Continually grow your assigned territory account base.
  • Continually upsell and cross sell your existing customer spend levels
  • Analyse results of campaigns and provide digital statistics to customers with full client account care.
  • Manage your own diary and CRM administration, adhering to high daily standards.
  • Be driven, motivated, with excellent attention to detail and creativity to ensure all commercial opportunities are maximised to their full potential.
  • Educate clients and help their understanding of our evolving digital landscape.
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of the digital marketplace, competitors platforms and new formats as they come to the market.



  • The Ideal Candidate

    We're looking for a passionate and driven sales professional who is able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the competitive environment in which the Trinity Mirror plc business operates. Ideally, you'll have a media or digital background and have stamina and exceptional amounts of determination to succeed. You will be goal orientated, a driven team player with an enthusiastic attitude and a strong understanding of the digital market.

    You must hold a full valid driving license.
