A well established large organization is recruiting for senior support worker for their supportive living service in Radstock / Midsomer Norton. You will mainly be supporting with a very fun and active Gentleman who has Autism and may display challenging behaviour.
Main Job Role:
- He is a fun and active individual who enjoys being outdoor most of the time
- In charge or rota's and covering shifts
- Conduct 121 meetings with the teams
- Update risk assessments, health & safety checks, care and support plans
- Help support and run the team
Contract / Terms:
- Salary is GBP18,525 per annum = GBP9.50 an hour
- We offer from 37.5 hours per week between Mondays to Fridays + alternative weekends
- Shifts can vary but mainly are between 8am - 10pm
Qualifying candidates:
- Must have previous senior experience
- Must have a driving licence with your own car
- Have some experience with Autism and/or challenging behaviour
Benefits (pro rota):
- Full training and will also get put through the NVQ qualification
- 25 days holiday + 8 bank holiday = 32 in total
- 6 months sick pay (3 months full pay and 3 months half pay)
- Cycle to work scheme
