Student Voice Researcher- Fixed term (12 months) - 22.5 hours per week - employed by Leeds Beckett Students' Union
Leeds Beckett Students' Union is a charity that exists to make our students' lives better. We do this in a huge variety of ways, providing a range of opportunities for students such as societies and volunteering; a range of services such as advice, food and drink, and events; and running campaigns and initiatives to improve the experience here at Leeds Beckett University and in the wider community. The Student Voice shapes what we do as a Union and the Student Voice team exists to make sure that students' needs and ideas are supported while they study at Leeds Beckett. Student Voice is about having their say, campaigning on issues that matter to them and getting their voice heard at all levels of the Students' Union and the University. We do this in a variety of ways including academic representation, policy & ideas, campaigning, elections, the Student Council and more; including research, consultation, training and development opportunities.
The Student Voice Team are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Student Voice Researcher to help understand our membership, by analysing data, undertaking valuable research prior to campaign or policy based activity, and through the collection of data using surveys, focus groups and other research methods.
