We are seeking to recruit a part-time Higher Education Higher Education Learning Support Co-ordinator to join our University Centre.

This is an ideal opportunity for candidates who have proven record in providing support to students within the higher education sector.  The post holder will contribute to the identification of the support needs of students, develops strategies to address barriers to learning and liaise effectively with relevant support services, ensuring that the learning needs of our students are met.

This will involve substantial liaison with both internal and external groups, in order to ensure the effective organisation, development and delivery of additional learning support. Externally, you will work with Ranstad to ensure that all identified students receive support as required. Internally, you will be expected to work closely with programme teams to ensure that all students have the opportunity to access their learning with relevant support.

This is an interesting role requiring exceptional awareness of learning difficulties and learning disabilities and strategies to address these.  The post holder will have excellent communication skills, flexibility, sound organisation skills, team working and the ability to be self-directing with a high level of accountability.
