We are currently recruiting for a Higher Education (HE) Workplace Co-Ordinator in Health, to join our Health, Hair, Beauty & ITE department, here at South Devon College. You will support the curriculum Section Head and Programme Co-Ordinator for Higher Level Skills in the co-ordinator of delivery of relevant Work Based Learning, including Apprenticeships and Work Experience programmes as part of core qualifications or as enrichment. You will be responsible for the communication between placement providers, mentors and academic staff to support HE students to meet there vocation competencies.

The successful candidate will need to hold a Level 3 qualification or above in a Health related area, and hold GCSE (or equivalent) qualifications in both English and Maths. We are looking for someone who has had experience working in a similar role i.e. arranging placements for trainees, working with apprentices and/or assessing learner outcomes, and someone with experience of working within the healthcare sector.

Due to the remoteness of some of the locations and lack of public transport, you will need to hold a full current driving licence with access to a car or other appropriate form of transport, in order to be successful in this post.
