***3rd Line Engineer - Bristol - 4 Months - GBP350 per day*** My client based in central Bristol - walkable from Temple Meads are urgently looking for a 3rd line infrastructure engineer to join the team on an initial 3 month contract. The client are looking for a 3rd line infrastructure engineer who has experience working within enterprise level infrastructure and support teams, the 3rd line infrastructure engineer will help ensure my clients needs are included on the overall groups roadmap and to align the infrastructure with that of the overall group and to assist in the development of the group IT proposition. An in-depth understanding of Microsoft Active Directory, Windows desktop and Server operating systems are essential. The key skills and experience for this 3rd line infrastructure engineer include *An in-depth understanding of Microsoft Active Directory, Windows desktop and Server operating systems *Strong understanding of TCP/IP and network topologies, technologies & methodologies. *Thorough understanding of DNS, DHCP and Group Policy. *Good knowledge of Microsoft Exchange *A credible track record of managing and delivering enterprise technology transformation initiatives. *IPSEC and SSL VPNs *To pay special attention maintaining high service levels being mindful of business continuity and disaster recovery options for new and existing services and applications. Desired experience: *Virtualisation, VMware and Hyper-V. *Amazon Web Services and / or Microsoft Azure. *Office 365 enterprise plans and services. *Firewalls and secure web gateways.
