Vehicle Dismantler/Mechanic
Location: Swindon
Salary: £8.10 to £9.22 per hour dependant on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30-5:30 and one Saturday a month 8:30-2pm
Role Purpose: To ensure the efficient and timely dismantling and fixing of vehicles.

Based in the South West of England, we are specialist Vauxhall breakers with over 12 years of experience in the industry. We carry a wide range of genuine quality used products for all models. We have very competitive prices, masses of product knowledge and pride ourselves on our customer service. We are currently looking for a Dismantler with experience in the industry to join our team.

You will have some experience, and be able to work to tight deadlines in a timely manner. You should be able to demonstrate this at a first interview if required.

Please note: A good range of your own tools is essential.

Principle Responsibilities
* Testing parts from vehicles to ensure they are functional
* Removing of parts from vehicles to include exterior trims through to engine parts
* Fault diagnosing on vehicles
* Mark and gather removed parts ready for sorting and tagging
* Conduct road tests on repaired vehicles as required
* Movement of stock around the yard
* Other ad hoc duties as required

You should have:
* UK driving licence
* Mechanical 'hands-on' experience of dealing with both new and old cars
* Ability to dismantle vehicles with a speedy turnaround
* Experience of dealing with diagnostics
