About the role:
This is a brand-new position within BCT introduced in reflection of how much our business has grown over the past 3 years. 

As the Health and Safety Manager, you will lead the Health and Safety function across our diverse business, advising senior managers within Distribution, Production, Commercial and Support across four sites and a total headcount of 400. 

You will consistently review and develop our Health and Safety activity, ensuring consistent application across the business and continued legal compliance. Leading your Health and Safety Assistant, and in collaboration with department managers and safety representatives, you will engage a diverse range of colleagues to ensure safety is paramount in everything we do. 

This position is based in Heathfield, Newton Abbot, but will require occasional travel to our office in Yorkshire and our Showroom in London. All travel costs will be covered by the business.

We are looking for a forward thinking, experienced and qualified Health and Safety Manager who will be able to engage colleagues across the business and take our safety culture to the next level.
