My client is a global leader in international transport & logistics currently operating in over 100 different countries and employing over 36,000 people.
As a Supply Chain Co-ordinator your roles will include:
- Planning and arrangement of international consignments according to client instructions and requirements
- Receiving of pre-advices and shipping documentation
- End to end monitoring of inbound and cross trade movements.
- Issuing customs clearance instructions and ensuring 100% compliance with AEO and customs policy
- Booking of FCL and LCL deliveries
- Day to day invoicing and job costing
- Follow up of on shipments until it is delivered
- Communication with overseas offices/partners
You will need to have excellent ICT skills including Microsoft packages. An excellent telephone manner, and customer service skills are required, remembering Attention to detail is key alongside the ability to handle pressure and be self motivated. Previous freight industry experience would be beneficial to your application.
