Installation Engineer

Audio visual installation engineer required for expanding West Midlands based company who supply and install audio visual systems across the UK. Located in Pershore this company has been trading for over 17 years. The company started as a small family run business and has grown year on year but has kept the personal, customer focused and high level service required to retain current customers and attract new business.

Salary is dependent on skill set but trainee positions also available for the right candidate with practical skills. Normal working hours are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday. The working hours can be flexible day to day with some early starts or later finishes. A bonus system is in place and weekend work is available occasionally.

Duties:
Reporting to the Installation Manager and Operations Director.

You will be required to meet clients on site and discuss requirements of the installation and on completion also sign off and hand over the job to a high end standard, so must be personable, professional and friendly often dealing with a varied range of customers from the local school site manager to the Managing Directors of large corporate companies. The individual must be smart and presentable and have excellent communicative skills.

You must be proficient in the use of hand tools, drills etc. An experience of building structures is also an advantage as any skills in cable running, network systems and electrical. The right applicant will have good problem solving skills and can do attitude often having to adapt to revised requirements whilst onsite.

A van is provided as the candidate would be travelling to various customer locations when required.
