Salary: Fixed Point Salary (£51K)
Permanent – 35 hours per week
Housingrecruit.com is advertising for a Finance Manager – Shared Services on behalf of our client, a leading social housing provider based in Liverpool.
Our client is the largest registered provider of social housing, made up of nine social housing, development and property management organisations operating in a federated structure based solely in the North West of England. They are delivering a major transformation change programme, in the way in which they deliver services and how they are structured as a business.
As part of a continued focus on developing and shaping their customer services and supporting their wider operational teams, they are looking for a Finance Manager – Shared Services to join the finance team.
Reporting to the Head of Accounting, you will manage and lead the Finance Shared Service Team for the organisation and be responsible for establishing processes, controls and assurance over finance systems. Managing and leading a team to deliver agreed performance targets and customer satisfaction, you will be responsible for Finance systems; providing assurance with effective internal controls and efficient processes. You will be responsible for and manage the rent setting, service charge setting and processing systems; ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, legislation and policies. Managing the purchase ordering system with effective internal controls and efficient processes will be critical to ensure invoice ledgers (sales and purchase) and debts are recovered and/or paid in accordance with terms agreed.
To be successful, it is essential you have a proven track record of delivering high levels of support service to customers and successfully delivering on operational plans. You will need to be proactive to develop data and performance services and improve services. Flexibility and travel to offices across the North West will be required depending on the needs of the post.
