We have an exciting opportunity for a Team leader to use gained skills and experiences to work in a rewarding environment for an organisation that provide care and support for young people in supported living settings.

This is an a great chance for you to work with a fantastic, growing organisation who provides excellent standards of care and support for young people who display a variety of challenging behaviours due mental health conditions, substance misuse, criminal convictions and risk of self harm, to name but a few.

As Team Leader you will be responsible for supporting key workers and support workers to provide the highest standards of care and support for young people who require support to live as independently as possible. The Team Leader will be there to take charge of any issues and ensure they are dealt with effectively and in line with policies and procedures of the organisation. You will be responsible for monitoring performance of the support team.

Your responsibilities will include monitoring of the care plans and ensuring they are implemented and delivered effectively while always ensuring the young people have as much control over their daily lives as possible.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about caring for young people and hold high the values of the organisation with an ultimate vision to give young people the independence they need to live fulfilling lives.

To be considered for this role you will hold a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care and/or a minimum of 3 years experience working with young people. You will have had supervisory or team leading experience previously. A successful candidate must hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to vehicle.

Flexibility is a must to be able to work a fair variety of shifts over a 7 day period including sleep in shifts where required and some on call duties.

In return you will receive a competitive salary of £19,500 up to £25,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
