Accounts Assistant - Part Time
Eclipse Creative Consultants are looking for a part-time Accounts Assistant to join our growing team based in Vicars Cross, Chester. The role is to assist the Accounts Manager in the day to day running of the accounts department.
Role and Responsibilities to include:
- Credit control - sending out customer statements, ensuring that payments are received within terms and chasing overdue payments. There will also be occasional raising of invoices.
- Purchase Ledger - matching invoices to purchase orders for authorisation and inputting onto sage. Preparing creditors report to process monthly creditors payment run.
- Banking - reconciling bank account to Sage each day, recording of petty cash, coding and inputting credit card statements to Sage.
- Assisting the Accounts Manager with month end and year end processes.
- Ad hoc duties as requested by the Accounts Manager/Managing Director.
- Sage 50 Accounts software experience
- Previous accounts role for minimum of 1 year
- Good telephone manner and communication skills
- Confident with IT, in particular with use of Excel
- Accurate with an attention to detail
- Self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised
- Flexible approach
- AAT Level 3 desirable but not essential
Job Type: Permanent - Part tIme - 2 days - 15 hours per week
