Our client now have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Support Manager, to take responsibility for leading and managing a diverse range of areas within a Manufacturing & Assembly operation, such as Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance, Facilities and Security. 

This role is key in the leadership, development and implementation of significant change projects and driving continuous improvement through Lean Thinking. The role is based in Prescot with some oversight responsibility for facilities in Buckley and Stoke, you will provide strong leadership, direction & coaching for colleagues within specified areas, as well as develop effective working relationships with the Manufacturing team and other key colleagues.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record within a Senior Manufacturing / Operations / Maintenance role, and of developing and leading strategic direction and implementation of change. Experience and knowledge of Lean Thinking, A3 Project Plan Formats, TPM, process capabilities and world class manufacturing models. A strong leader, you will have influencing skills matched with the ability to deliver results through others.
