The Human Resources Operations team is responsible for providing professional HR advice and expertise to managers and schools to resolve employee relations issues using a proactive approach, interpreting employment law and internal policies, procedures and guidance to the best advantage of the council and/or school, with the aim of reducing timescales for the decision making of case resolution.
About the role
Working within our HR operational team to provide outstanding and comprehensive support to our managers and head teachers you will advise on a broad spectrum of employment related law matters, from safer recruitment advice to discipline, grievance, reorganisation and restructurings, absence management and work performance.
About you
There will be plenty of variety and responsibility, so this is an excellent opportunity for a CIPD part qualified professional or equivalent with a calm and methodical approach and proven ability to manage a substantial workload.
