Award winning recruitment Company, "Templine" are looking to recruit a Bench Joiner for a prestigious company on a temporary to permanent basis.
The candidate must have experience in bench joinery ideally within a staircase manufacturing establishment, however not critical as training will be given. Be familiar with the use of power tools, general joinery shop fixed machines including cross cut saws, bandsaws, sanders, panel saws etc.
The job entails dry fitting staircases together including fitting newel posts, steps, treads and assembled balustrades to a high standard before fixing all parts and wrapping ready for delivery to site by our own transport.
The candidate must have qualifications to at least level 3 NVQ in Joinery or city & guilds Carpentry & Joinery equivalent.
Job details;
• GBP10.00-GBP12.00 per hour depending on experience plus bonus after satisfactory probation period
• Overtime is paid at time and a half
• Hours of work - Mon -Thurs 7.30 -5.00, Fri & 7.30 -2.30 = 42.5 Hrs per week
• The candidate must have their own hand tools for use on a day to day basis, routers/sanders/drills/drivers will be provided for daily usage
