Principal Teachers currently has a requirement for a Teacher of Boys PE to commence a long term role in a Ripon secondary school with immediate effect. The Head Teacher is seeking to appoint a male PE Teacher to join the PE Department on a full time basis until at least December 2017. successful applicant will be required to deliver an enriching and motivating PE curriculum to boys in KS3 and KS4 following National Curriculum requirements to allow all students to achieve and flourish. You will need to work with your department colleagues to plan and assess meticulously in order to cater to the needs of diverse classes in Years 9, 10 and 11. This innovative secondary school is based in a lively area of Ripon. The school is well regarded within the local community and has excellent sports facilities both indoors and outdoors. The successful applicant will be welcomed into a dynamic Physical Education Department and gain full access to a wealth of resources. You will be required to deliver a robust curriculum to motivate and support KS3 and KS4 boys to achieve in PE and instil a love of physical activity. The successful applicant will be required to demonstrate their attention to detail and ability to plan and assess meticulously to inform target setting and cater to the needs of students with a range of abilities.
