We currently have an opportunity for a part time Cleaning Team Leader to join us in Livingston.

Within this role, you will work within the Soft Services Team, carrying out your duties effectively and efficiently in accordance with contractual requirements.

Overseeing the work of the Team leaders and Cleaning teams, you will induct and train the Soft Services Team as required in line with the Mears Facilities Management Company Policy.

You will be responsible for providing specific training on equipment, cleaning practises and use of chemicals to the Soft Services Team on site and will also allocate cleaning beats to Cleaning Team Leaders and Operatives ensuring that all areas of the sites are maintained and meet the needs of the contract and any relevant SLA’s.

In order to be successful in this role, you should have previous management and supervisory experience in the cleaning industry, preferably within the Education and/or PFI sector.  With a BIC’s membership, or experience of working to BIC’s standards, you will also have good awareness of Health and Safety legislation.
