The Role: 

As the Finance Manager, you will oversee the company’s financials through the proactive analysis of sales forecasting, cash flow profitability and budget management. 

In this key role, you will: 

- Manage and process payroll 
- Perform account reconciliations 
- Complete VAT returns 
- Work with the Accountants and Financial Director to ensure that reporting systems comply with government regulations and legislation 
- Prepare and set up new customer accounts 
- Identify cost reduction opportunities 
- Maintain the petty cash fund 

About You: 

To be considered, you will need: 

- Experience of working within a professional time-based service environment, such as a marketing agency, legal firm or accountancy practice 
- Strong IT skills with experience of Sage and cloud-based packages that streamline and help to automate the accounting and reporting function, such as QuickBooks or Xero 
- An associate’s degree (or equivalent) in accounting or business administration 
- Exceptional communication skills 

A financial qualification, such as an AAT, ACCA, CIMA or ICAEW would be beneficial, as would experience of time tracking systems, such as Synergist.
