The Fundraising Operations team at Alzheimer's Research UK (ARUK) is responsible for business planning, playing a key role in the delivery of a strategy for transformational income growth. This team of experts exists to support and drive the fundraising activities of the whole organisation and is fundamental to the delivery of our ambition to find a life-changing treatment by 2025..
Applications are invited for a Project and Insight Manager, an important role, working with internal and external stakeholders to help continue organisational and fundraising success. The role is varied and challenging. You will manage a range of projects which include the launch of new external fundraising initiatives and internal streamlining initiatives to support our growth.
You will also be responsible for drawing together insights from within the organisation and external third party sources in order to provide quarterly gap analysis to senior directors and prompt new initiatives based upon this information. No two days will be the same and you will need to be able to hit the ground running in a fast paced environment.
Main tasks of the role:
- Responsibility for the overall project management of our two established flagship supporter led fundraising events
- Managing the delivery of new products, projects and initiatives as they arise
- Responsibility for ensuring that roles and responsibilities are set out clearly at the start of each project and key stakeholders are sure of the end to end project management process for each project
- Ensuring proactive oversight of all key project tasks, ensuring that each team can meet their required deliverables within the timescale provided
- Collating and analysing market research from across teams to provide a holistic overview of existing audience insight.
What we are looking for:
- Education to degree level or equivalent with a formal project management qualification
- Good problem-solving and communications skills
- Good interpersonal skills, ability to interact with different stakeholders and significant stakeholder management experience
- Experience of developing and implementing strategies
- Strong organisational and analytical skills
