Project Engineer / Project Manager with construction sector experience for successful consulting company in Sheffield

The Role

As Project Manager / Project Engineer, you will focus on Lean / Continuous Improvement initiatives and programmes for Construction industry clients. The role involves influencing / persuading at all levels and delivery of positive change / business improvement protocols. Responsibilities include:

• coordinating and working with Planning Data ( Last Planner / Collaborative Planning )
• liaising with Construction Management teams on Best Practice, Lean initiatives etc.
• running presentations / workshops / training with Construction / Contracting teams

The Company

Our client is a small consultancy / consulting firm delivering Lean / Business Improvement initiatives and programmes to all parts of the construction industry from clients to designers, contractors and specialist contractors across the UK.

The Person

As Project Manager / Project Engineer, you will be a qualified professional seeking to break into the Lean / Business Improvement Consulting world, and significant training and development is on offer to the right candidate - with the additional remuneration involved!. Some knowledge / experience of Lean / BI is required, along with familiarity with construction industry practices. You will also:

• be driven and delivery-orientated
• have good analytical skills
• be a strong communicator
• be able to lead events / workshops

This role involves working away at times so a willingness to travel during the week is key, though the role can involve flexible and home-based working.
