Due to the retirement of our Head Gardener at the end of this year, we are currently recruiting for his successor.

This exciting role will include leading an enthusiastic team of gardeners and working alongside other departments to maintain and develop the College’s gardens and deliver high standards of horticulture.

37.5 hours per week, which would include some weekend working 
Salary: £29,383 - £30,265 per annum

Reporting to our Operations Manager, our new Head Gardener will take an active role in the design, improvement and development of all garden areas of the College owned sites, including Old Court, Anns Court, Cripps Court, the Master's and Fellows' Gardens and off-site College properties, developing the existing gardens for all round year beauty. He/she will be involved in delivering some great new developments, which will include support in the design of the courts around a new Library and Auditorium, due to be built in the next couple of years. The successful applicant will also expand opportunities for in-house propagation, which could include growing our own garden produce for the College's successful catering and conferencing operation.
