Digital Project Manager - Ecommerce / Magento / Wordpress
Location: Hooton
Salary: £24,000 to £34,000 dependant on previous experience plus many benefits
The company is a multi award-winning search marketing agency. We work with brands and SME’s to build search friendly websites and offer ongoing SEO, PPC and Conversion Rate Optimisation services. We are looking for an experienced Digital Project Manager to join our Web Development team to assist with growing the department.
Our client primarily have search focused marketing goals and web development supports this by:
? One off projects building search and user friendly websites
? Web maintenance mostly for SEO, PPC and marketing changes
? Conversion rate optimisation including the setup and implementation of A/B tests
The role will be to manage the development on the above projects across multiple clients. Specific responsibilities will include:
• Management and delivery of projects from supplied briefs and web specifications
• Management and delivery of maintenance tasks
• Keeping track of time and budgets spent on each project
• Liaising with our account management team to keep clients updated in a controlled manner
• Managing some third party suppliers to agreed timescales and costs
• Ensure all dependencies are met and projects are delivered on time
• Carry out additional ad-hoc duties as required by the business
Relevant skills and experience includes:
• Proven track record of managing web builds to completion within timescale and budget (essential)
• Proven track record of managing web maintenance projects (essential)
• Ability to work in a team environment and support colleagues (essential)
• Manage own workload to ensure individual and team deadlines are met (essential)
• Ability to communicate with and work with various departments and individuals effectively (essential)
• Experience of client communication and stakeholder Management (essential)
• Experience of working with WordPress and Magento (essential)
• Good understanding of HTML and CSS (desirable)
• Strong technical awareness when assessing and scoping work (desirable)
• Knowledge of working with Project Management tools such as Basecamp and Pivotal Tracker (desirable)
• Knowledge of working with Git version control software (desirable)
