Our client is a well established supplier to the manufacturing industry. Based at a brand new site in North Manchester as part of their expansion plans, they are now looking to recruit a Sales Engineer.
The role will also involve internal sales, external sales and some purchasing activities.
As a Sales Engineer you will be responsible for :-
Identification of new customers
Maintaining regular contact with existing customers
Preparation of quotations and processing orders
Providing technical support
The ideal candidate will be self motivated, have strong interpersonal skills and be a confident communicator. You will be required to work as part of a team as well as skilfully managing your time and own projects so excellent organisational skills are essential.
Ideally, applicants will have some previous Sales / Account Management and/or Customer Service experience in a related sector or be able to demonstrate these qualities. Some engineering sales experience would be great and training will be provided on the product range.
You should have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, the internet & e-mail.
Salary is £20,000 plus bonus opportunities, free parking.
